The KTS1630 is Robin’s Flag ship 10 in 1 Digital multifunction tester for the testing of electrical installations to the requirements of BS 7671.
The KTS1630 provides 10 primary test functions all in a compact, light, and portable design.
Test functions include

• RCD Tester (½, x1 & x5 RCD current multiplier’s, 19 Possible test RCD trip current settings.)
• Insulation Tester (250, 500V & 1000V DC)

• Mains Voltage measurement
Included with the KTS1630 as standard are Earth Resistance Spikes, SLP5 Earth Probe, SL20 Snap-Lok Test Leads, SL16E distribution board test leads, BS 1363 moulded plug lead, carrying case, Batteries, Instruction Manual, Quick Cert software & Certificate of Conformity.
The KTS1630 has an advanced data storage system that allows the user to select a site reference number from 1 to 999, a distribution board reference number and a distribution way number therefore allowing the unique identification of each item and the easy retrieval of its test data. Further more the user can tag Insulation & continuity measurements as phase specific.
Data can be downloaded from one of the KTS1630 999 memory locations by use of an Infrared port at the side of the instrument. This data can then be transferred to PC or Printer using the optional IrDa Port.
Once the data has been transferred to PC the information can then be displayed in Quick Cert.
