Ultrasonic Flowmeter FLUXUS ADM6725 is Portable transit-time flowmeter. It has easy to install clamp-on sensors with no process interruption using Non-invasive flow measurement of liquids. The Katronics Fluxus ADM6725 is suitable for most commonly used pipe materials with pipe diameters from 10 mm to 3 m (dependant upon transducer sizes).
Rental models come with Transducers suitable for pipe diameters upto 300mm
PLEASE READ ULTRASONIC LOCATION / CONDITION REQUIREMENTS PRIOR TO ORDERING
The Fluxus range of non-invasive flowmeters utilises ultrasonic technology for the accurate flow measurement of liquids in full pipes. The measurement of flow is based on the principle that sound waves travelling in the direction of flow of the fluid require less time than when travelling in the opposite direction. The difference in transit times of the ultrasonic signals is an indication for the flow rate of the fluid.
The ultrasonic sensors are clamped onto the outside of the pipe, thus eliminating the need to dismantle the pipework and interrupt the process. The Fluxus Ultrasonic Flowmeter can be applied to any type of standard pipe carrying clean or dirty liquids. The portable device has been designed to meet the needs of the Service / Maintenance and Commissioning Engineer wishing to check the flow rate of liquids at different locations in the plant.
The set-up of the unit is simple and user friendly. Diameter, thickness and material of the pipe and the fluid to be measured need to be entered via the keypad. With the clamp-on sensors positioned correctly, the flow rate of the liquid can be determined in minutes.
The Fluxus Flowmeter utilises innovative micro-controller technology with digital signal processing. Sophisticated statistical algorithms guarantee accurate measurements even under difficult operating conditions.
The unit can be equipped with a number of optional functions such as pipewall thickness measurement, heat quantity measurement, graphics printing, relay outputs, analogue outputs, multiple channels, time programmable measuring mode, integral printer, etc. Up to 150,000 measuring values can be internally logged and downloaded to a Personal Computer. With the standard device, the PC software MOVEDATA is supplied for data communication and to convert measurement values into spreadsheet compatible format. The application of the portable Fluxus Ultrasonic Flowmeter is particularly useful in situations where a flow measurement is required quickly and without interruption of the process.
