The Ion Science PhoCheck+ 2000 is a handheld photoionisation detector (PID) capable of detecting a large number of Volatile Organic Compounds (VOC's). Displayed gas readings can be shown either numerically or as a real time graph. The PhoCheck+ 2000 is Intrinsically safe and therefore is suitable for use in flammable areas. (Excludes battery charging and data downloading) The PhoCheck+ 2000 can detect over 250 gases / gas mixtures, a full list of detectable gases can be downloaded opposite. As with all PID instruments the PhoCheck+ 2000 can not speciate between gases, instead the instrument will express the TOTAL detected gas mixture as a user definable gas type concentration. As well as being a hand held device the PhoCheck+ 2000 is capable of being left unattended to monitor and record VOC levels for up to 37 hours*. The recorded values can then be uploaded to your PC using the IR link and analysis software provided. *Based on a fixed logging rate of 1 second and operating off the supplied battery charger. The PhoCheck+ 2000 MUST NOT be operated off the battery charger in a flammable area
